My Coorg Trip

Coorg Trip(May 20th  2016 to May 24th  2016)

Dilemma Period

It was early April 2016, Telangana Government has declared heat wave across the state and the death toll is rising day by day. I got a call from one of the relative asking whether I'll be in for a vacation trip. Little unsure regarding the budgets as there were some commitments i said "I may not Join as in May i need to pay school fee of my kid". The pressure from family and relatives kept on haunting me and the budget was raised for the trip and a go was given to the trip.

Decision Period

Where to Go?
Everyone agreed and decided not to go to pilgrimages. Next best was Goa or some hill station like mahabaleshwar. Discussions went on and finally it was decided as Coorg. The plan is on. Coorg is the destination. Do not ask me why coorg is selected. every one is desperate to move out of Hyderabad for a few days. On April 29th tickets for 9 members were booked and with in 2 days 2 more persons boarded the plan and 3 from Mumbai got their tickets booked. So 14 members stated dreaming about coorg

Shopping Period

People started shopping and sharing on what they bought making everyone aware thattheyneed to by same or similar things. the competition was high and suddenly the temperatures in Hyderabad started falling to get our selves adjusted to coorg :).

The T Day (Travel Day) (20-May-2016)

It Started raining heavily in Hyderabad in afternoon. The trees and poles were falling and the situation in Hyderabad is not so good as these were considered as not good signs while travelling. But for the desparate crew these are seemed no danger. Vehicles to airport as usual from Dot cabs arrived late inspite of booking them a day in advance . Tension whether we could reach or not. Out team also had late lateefs who be on time causing the whole team to think whether they will be boarding or not.

Finally everyone reached airport and there were 5 first time fliers who enjoyed the scenes at airport. The Aircraft and the lounges. Flight took off and we have landed safely in Bengaluru.

A 12 seater vehicle was arranged from Bangalore to Coorg. We reached coorg by 8. People Who slept in the bus claimed that they did not sleep.

We were taken to the guest house by  jeeps the way to guest house (Chingara) was steep and terrifying a new experience altogether. Chingara is located on a hill and has a very serene environment. It has Donkeys.
